Mini Matqa Sling | EL VEENU

The Mini Matqa Sling brings a piece of Rajasthan’s traditional design language into a compact and functional everyday bag.

Inspired by the familiar shape of the traditional clay matka, this sling is handmade in Jaisalmer using full-grain, vegetable-tanned goat leather. The curved silhouette gives the bag its distinctive identity, while the natural brown leather preserves the character and texture of the material.

The front is finished with a vintage-inspired antique lock, paired with antique-finish hardware that complements the warm leather tone and reinforces the bag’s heritage-inspired appearance.

Inside, the bag features a soft velvet lining and practical organization for daily essentials. A spacious main compartment is supported by two open pockets and one zip pocket, helping smaller items stay organized and easy to reach.

The adjustable 1-inch / 2.5 cm wide shoulder strap allows the Mini Matqa Sling to be carried comfortably across the body or over the shoulder.

Because the bag is made from natural full-grain leather, no two pieces will look completely identical. Subtle changes in grain, texture and tone are natural characteristics of genuine leather. With regular use, the vegetable-tanned leather can gradually soften and develop a deeper, more individual patina.
